Stock Market Prediction for Tomorrow: Nifty & Bank Nifty Outlook | Support & Resistance
The Indian stock market remained under pressure today, with both Nifty 50 and Bank Nifty experiencing high intraday volatility. Rising India VIX during the opening session reflected increased market uncertainty, while the market later witnessed some recovery toward the Closing Auction Session (CAS).
Nifty 50 Prediction for Tomorrow
Nifty 50 closed at 24,078, down 77 points (-0.32%). The index faced selling pressure during the session, while India VIX initially rose around 3%, indicating increased fear and volatility among market participants.
However, volatility cooled toward the end of the session. During the Closing Auction Session (CAS), Nifty formed a green candle and managed to close above the psychologically important 24,000 level.
The ability to sustain above 24,000 will remain important for the next trading session. However, the broader technical setup continues to favor caution as the index remains below key resistance levels.
Nifty 50 Support & Resistance
If Nifty fails to sustain above 24,000 and selling pressure increases, the index could retest the 23,900–23,800 support zone. On the upside, a sustained move above 24,250 would be required to improve the short-term outlook.
Bank Nifty Prediction for Tomorrow
Bank Nifty traded with heavy intraday volatility but ultimately remained largely neutral, closing around 23 points lower.
During the session, heavyweight banking stocks including ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank came under pressure and contributed to weakness in the index. Despite this selling pressure, Bank Nifty recovered toward the CAS and finished close to the flat zone.
The next session could remain volatile, particularly if heavyweight private-sector banks continue to face selling pressure.
Bank Nifty Support & Resistance
A sustained breakout above 57,600 could improve the short-term momentum. However, failure to hold 56,900–56,750 may increase downside pressure.
Market Outlook for Tomorrow
Overall, the market continues to show a cautious-to-bearish structure. The combination of elevated volatility, resistance near key levels, and weakness in heavyweight stocks suggests traders should watch price action carefully rather than chase rallies.
Traders should closely monitor India VIX, heavyweight banking stocks, global market cues and price action around the mentioned support and resistance levels before taking positions.
