Share Market Prediction for Tomorrow: Nifty & Bank Nifty Outlook | Support & Resistance
Nifty 50 Outlook: Bearish Bias Continues
The Nifty 50 closed at 24,288, down 78 points (-0.32%), after a volatile trading session. At the opening, India VIX surged nearly 3%, signaling increased market fear and intraday volatility. However, volatility cooled toward the end of the session as the VIX declined from its early-session spike.
Despite the recovery attempts during the day, Nifty failed to sustain stronger levels and ended in negative territory. For the next trading session, the technical setup remains cautious, with selling pressure likely to emerge near resistance.
Nifty 50 Support & Resistance
A sustained move above 24,450 could improve the short-term structure. However, failure to cross this resistance may keep Nifty under pressure toward 24,150–24,000.
Bank Nifty Outlook: PSU Banks Under Pressure
Bank Nifty declined 214 points during the CAS closing period, indicating renewed selling pressure toward the end of the session.
A key factor was weakness in PSU banking stocks, with SBIN moving into negative territory and contributing approximately 37 points of downward pressure to the index. Meanwhile, strength in some large-cap private banks helped limit the overall decline and kept the broader banking index relatively supported during the regular session.
The closing weakness, particularly during the CAS period, keeps the short-term Bank Nifty setup tilted toward the bearish side.
Bank Nifty Support & Resistance
Bank Nifty may face selling pressure if it fails to reclaim 57,850. A break below 57,100 could open the way toward the 56,850 support zone.
Bottom Line
The market enters tomorrow's session with a cautious-to-bearish setup. Nifty needs to reclaim 24,450 to strengthen the short-term outlook, while Bank Nifty must overcome 57,850 to negate immediate selling pressure.
Until these resistance levels are decisively reclaimed, traders may watch for sell-on-rise opportunities, while keeping a close eye on India VIX, PSU bank performance and the opening trend.
